Where do Ask Bam's answers come from?
Ask Bam draws on a glossary of terms and concepts defined from vetted public sources such as investor.gov, cfpb.gov, irs.gov, and fdic.gov.
How do I add my transactions?
Add them by hand, use voice entry, or import a CSV file. You can mark any item as recurring so it repeats monthly, and you can export your data whenever you like. Many common transactions are auto-categorized.
Can I use Finboo on my phone?
Yes. Finboo is web-based and designed to work on both mobile and desktop browsers.
Do I have to create a budget from scratch?
No. You can auto-create a starting budget and adjust it, or set each category yourself.
How is my data handled?
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We never sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties except in the limited situations described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your data, update your information, or delete your account anytime.
